In this movie, Jiminy Cricket has presented as a fictional character which Carlo Collodi designs, in 1883, in his book “The Adventure of Pinocchio.” Later this story was released as an animated film, “The Pinocchio” by the producer Walt Disney. The genre of this movie is adventure, animation, family, and all fantasy. This story of a wooden puppet is set in the Tuscan area of Italy. Throughout the film, the writer has presented Jiminy as a partner
who gives company to wooden puppet Pinocchio in his adventurous journey of becoming a real boy. The blue fairy is appointed as a conscience for Pinocchio, who tells him what is right & wrong.

In this film, Jiminy has an utterly different appearance compared to the actual cricket, which in reality consists of six legs, a long antenna, and a black to brown body color. Instead of this, Jiminy has presented himself as a 19th or
20th-century gentleman who wears Coat-pant and blue top hat with an umbrella in his hand. At the beginning of the story, he steals most of the spotlight by his joyful words and funny actions; from his dress-up, it was clear that Jiminy is homeless and has fallen on hard times. Although this message has not emphasized directly in the story, Jiminy was troubling in cold and looking for someplace to get warm in actuality.

This was the main reason Jiminy has suddenly jumped in front of the blue fairy to get the conscience’s job. Although he doesn’t any prior experience of being a professional conscience, he still tried to act as a professional conscience in front of blue fairy & Pinocchio and say, “But even though the right things may seem wrong sometimes, sometimes the wrong things may be right at the wrong time, or vice versa. Understand?” — actually, this nonsense.

What next?JIMINY: Fine conscience I turned out to be. Late the first day”. Jiminy said this line to itself when he found that he is late for his duty, and Pinocchio had already gone somewhere. Due to Jiminy’s negligence, Pinocchio was caught by two finesse characters named Honest John and Gideon, who planned to sell the Pinocchio in the circus in order to get some coins. If you try to make such mistakes at the time of your first job, then maybe you’ll be saved by your parent’s basements but think about the Jiminy who was already jobless & homeless before getting this job. When Jiminy found that now Pinocchio has turned into a Circus star and is also liked by the audience, then he thinks that now Pinocchio won’t need him anymore. But when the blue fairy visits there to save Pinocchio from Great Stromboli, who locked him in the cage, then Jiminy tries to secure himself by saying that “A conscience is that still, small voice that people won’t listen to. That’s just the trouble with the world today”. Although jimmy is not good responsible, from his lines, a deep message was given to the children and even its actual case that if you don’t listen to your conscience, i.e is parents in our case, then we’ll get stuck somewhere badly.

Despite all of his negligence’s, Jiminy proves himself a deserving conscience when he escapes Pinocchio from great Stromboli and also saves him from transforming into the donkey when coachmen caught him finesse.

Also, without caring for itself, Jiminy joins Pinocchio when he decides to save his father, who is trapped in the Monstro’s (The Whale) belly. Although Jiminy knows that this Mosntro’s mission can lead him directly to death, he
still gave his best to complete his responsibility. At the end of the story, not only Pinocchio has grown into a good, unselfish, and brave boy, but the blue fairy also rewarded Jiminy for his moral growth. Now, you might consider it as a very small success, but if you compare Jiminy’s new suit and golden badge with his poor rags, then I think you’ll understand how far he’s come.
